
So I’ve made it one of my monthly goals to go at least a week without chocolate (longest stretch to date is 3 days). Of course after no visit for a month an a half the school kid who sells ‘Worlds Finest’ Chocolate came by my work just now.
I bought some since we have no clue when he’ll be back- so now theres extra temptation and I’ll be counting the seconds until the 8th when my week is over XD

Sleep was interrupted for the best of reasons last night. Im an Aunt now!!!! Though also extremely tired and on my way to work.

Went to Red Rock to do some scrambling this afternoon. Has a great time and spent about 3 hours working our way up to the top and then back down to the car. Definitely a place Im going to have to go back to a few more times.
sort wimped out on the weights today after yesterday. Im sore enough I didnt use the strap on weights this time, though this is the first time I’ve made it through the entire set of bicycle crunches without taking a break so I think Im getting better.
Major down side, something with our air conditioner broke last night so I did todays work out in a 85F room. I suppose I should be glad its just the beginning of summer… hopefully it gets better soon.

Went to walmart today to get a popsicle maker to try yogurt fruit pops and walked out with a new pedometer, wrist weights, and exercise clothes, so I thought I’d try out the new weights for shred. They are 1.5lbs each so are less than the 2lbs I used yesterday but boy did I feel them today. Since they velcro on I left them on from the warm up to the cool down and only had problems with them moving during boxing and getting in the way slightly of push ups. Its only been 2 hours since I finished my shred for the day but I already feel it… hope Im not horribly sore tomorrow.
Anyhow, if you have wrist weights or want to spend about $12 to get some, I definitely recommend them as a way to up the intensity of your work out. I got the lowest weight but there are a few different ones.
On a completely different note, I’ve been trying to get some strength training exercise in throughout the day but theres not really any where with any kind of privacy at work to do them. So, being the odd ball that I am, I snuck off to the bathroom twice today to do sets of squats where no one could see me.
